Wohin mit den Tränen
in einer glänzenden Welt?
Wir funktionieren und
können alles haben,
wir dürfen nicht
traurig sein.
Das Hochwasser kommt,
zuviel Wasser,
Wasser, leben spendendes Wasser
zerstört unsere Heimat.
Dürfen wir jetzt weinen?
Retten Tränen uns davor, in unseren Gefühlen zu ertrinken?
Helfen Tränen beim Überleben
oder sind sie umsonst?
Water
Where to go the tears
in a shiny world?
We are working People,
we can have everything,
we are not allowed
to be sad.
The flood comes,
too much water,
Water, life-giving water
destroyed our home.
Can we cry now?
Save our tears us form
drowning in our feelings?
Are tears life-giving or are
they for nothing?

I am in low Spirits now. And this is o.k. - there is a lot of pain and fear here around me and every where in the world. Wy should this not have a place here?
My Collage was inspired by two floods in 2010 and 2013 here in my Homeland Upper Lusatia. The House is a traditional Upper-Lusatian house.

Ich bin momentan in gedrückter Stimmung. Das ist in Ordnung. Schmerzen und Ängste gibt es genug rund um mich herum und überall auf der Welt. Warum sollte das hier keinen Platz
haben?
Meine Collage wurde von den zwei großen Hochwassern inspiriert, die 2010 und 2013 hier in der Oberlausitz zu erleben waren. Das Haus ist ein hiesiges traditionelles Umgebindehaus.

this makes me wonder about water- it gives and it takes the way things go, good take on theme, kind of sad, but I guess that's life.

yes, to accept all that rises and flows in a life, the happy times, the hard times, the in between. sometimes i think that is the way... to be with what is. loosing a home is a big deal, lots of things to figure out and lots of loss. just the right amount of water is the best. thank you for your collage and poem.

so schön deine collage auch ist, so traurig ist auch der Anlaß. Ich habe 2013 sehr mit Euch mitgelitten, denn mein Vater kommt ursprünglich aus Halle und da war auch komplett Land unter und all die Bilder zu sehen, wie Haus und Hof zustört wurden, das war echt hart. Und es selbst zu erleben natürlich nicht auszudenken und 1000 mal schlimmer! So schön ich das Element Wasser auch finde, so zerstörerisch kann es sein... Dein Gedicht ist auch wunderschön!!! Kopf hoch auch der Winterblues geht irgendwann vorbei und dann werden wieder andere Maßeinheiten gesetzt, wie z.B. die Baguettescale ; )
